moving around

We are getting ready to renovate the sunroom into a small bedroom and putting a sliding door out to the yard.. But we are loosing Lilja's little play nook, however, the little kitchen is on the otherside of the kitchen and her bedroom is getting a little organization make-over. But it must be a little confusing.. she has been moving the stool around for a while now and just talking up a storm..When we get back it will be done, can't wait!

Holland here we come!!

Got the OK from the doctor to go to Holland.. Not completely 100% , still pretty tired from the medicine from the pneumonia and my ears are still a little clogged. But I can imagine I can sick it out at Opa and Oma's house.. Get ready for the girlie!!!

Lilja LOVES bubbles. Here are some cute videos of her trying to blow them and sharing them ;) "Ita" is what she calls herself, so when she asked for that she wants to see herself in the video..

sorry for the long wait and now sorry for these not so good photos.. Lilja wants to see herself on the camera right away, so instead of posing, she will run to the camera and see if she can see 'Ita" that's what she calls herself.. Hopefully there will be fun photos soon from holland. I have a doctord appointment wtommorrow and then we will decide. i feel a lot better now and hope it will be good news.

Here is Lilja running to the camera as soon as she saw it.. she is getting longer and leaner now that she is back on lactose free m ilk. I think it makes a difference.

Lunch: pickles, cheese, crackers and ham.. oh and yes, guacomole all over her face..

sorry everyone, I have been sick with pneumonia for the last week, so snapping photos or videos have been the fardest from my mind.. it looks like I am feeling a little (tiny)bit better today so hopefully on the mends.. Can't wait to go to Holland on Thursday, and just crossing my fingers the doctor will let me go..

the kids fair

SunUte (my work) had a Kids fair on Friday and Aran and the Wildlife Division were there to show off all the pelt of different kinds of animals and a big turkey to touch.

Lilja really liked the turkey. . In her hand is a new toothbrush she got from the health department.

Aran's division set up a cute fishing game. They had a fishing rod that they threw over a wall that looked like the sea with fish in it (a shower curtain) and Danielle (Aran's co-worker) attached some treats to the end of it and then Lilja could pull it back. Lilja won these glasses and the bubbles.

painting!!

Most of you know I LOVE to paint, and you probably remember the green bedroom and the red/orange walls in the kitchen... well... I wanted to lighten it up and update it a little. We are getting ready to renovate a little room off the kitchen and wanted to make it one nice smooth transition of some urban color.. here is the result. I love it!! Aran did not have the jumping up and down celebration when he got home, but I will give that one to his color blindness. the colors are this soft taupe color and a darker taupe/gray.

we are hopefully putting in some french doors where Lilja's playarea is. It would be nice to have a door straight to the yard while Lilja is playing outside.

The dark green bedroom has now a soothing hotel like feeling ;)

Here is Lilja's favorite toy form the Kreikemeiers!! a beautiful big huge slide.. it is for outside as we do not have room inside the house, but last night we put it in the livingroom. Lilja LOVED it!!
