Holland

Lilja and I are going to Holland for the next two weeks. Opa and Oma and Tante Brigitte will be waiting at the airport eagerly.. Can't wait to get spoiled by my mom ;).. Oh yeah, it's not about me anymore.. Can't wait for Lilja to get spoiled by my mom... When we get back I will post all the fun photos that I am sure we will be taking..Till then.. Nicole

5 PM-No-Nap-Lilja..

For the first time in a veryyyy looong time.. Lilja did not want to take a nap.. after an hour of singing and playing in her room (we are lucky, she has never gotten out of her bed), I gave up and let her come back out.. shall we just call it quiet time..( we did go and walk doggies ) Insider info on Lilja... When she gets tired.. she goes crazzzyyy!! and crazy it was..I just joined in ,because another insider info is that when she is tired, she does not listen.. I was trying to make dinner and she was into everything she was not allowed to.. A video did not even settle her down.. so I joined her and we both got silly..

Lilja is becoming such a big girl.. now she wants to read a book by herself when she goes potty.. just like Daddy?!

Lilja was pretty timid in the beginning. Now I realize why.. she is talking about th noices.. i think she means the air blowers that hold up the bouncy houses, they were pretty loud

We'll be back , probably with some other kids.. For adults it's not really fun. But a group of kids would have a blast.. who's up for it??

One of our babysitter is Shannon, our great friends' Robin and Freddy's teenage daughter. Last night we had a well deserved night out with them and Shannon took care of Lilja.. It is always nice when Lilja does not even care when you leave or when you come back.. it sounds like they had a great time.. We sure did!! Thanks Robin and Freddy for all the laughs and the yummy margaritas~~ Mom don't get too jealous.. we'll be there in two 1/2 weeks!!

Lilja and I had a girls day today, while Daddy is riding..
We went shopping at target and Safeway (Yeah) and then we ended up at this Big Bounce play area.. Lilja is still a little small for some of the bouncing houses, and she was pretty overwhelmed in the beginning but she warmed up after a while and we had a great time..
