opa and oma are here

Sorry for not posting for so long. Most of yiu know I had an abdominal hysterectomy done on July 9th. My parents came over and will stay for 6 weeks. So now it has been two weeks and I can finally say I feel good. That first week was pretty bad, especially because I had not expected to feel so bad and be in such pain. Besides a reaction to the meds, which made me throw up all day and a catheter that did not work, the pain was pretty bad.. but after 4 days it started to be manageable. Did not like the oxycodone so I took myself off that pretty fast, maybe a little too fast .. the doctor was surprised to hear that and told me I could up my meds a little. So the two weeks have been just hanging around the house and slowly walking here and there . Mom and dad have just been amazing, taking care of lilja, making dinners and cleaning the house .. I could not have wished for any better nurses !! Ofcourse I am trying to document all this fun lilja is having.. here are some of my favorite photos

She did it !! After practicing with daddy and opa a couple of times, she finally mastered riding her bike.. it just clicked.. so fun to be there witnessing it, and so special that my parents were there too!!
