this week

Aran has been gone fir hunting every weekend of this month, last weekend he was gone for 3 days .. lilja really started missing him. He made up for being a kitty cat all day 

Our little children's museum is reopening and had a little party . Interesting to see lilja start to get interested in different things . A membership is probably still a good thing this year

Right before we went in the girls stopped to listen to a singer .. momma I love her voice and she is so beautiful. Being a groupie starts early !!

So aran brought home a grouse last week .. biology 101 !! Loved see aran just go through every step of cleaning the bird and talk about every body part or guts .. she loved it.. she still wants to be a veterinarian,  so it is goid she was not grossed out ..

start of the weekend

Lilja and I had momma/daughter day .. the southern ute parade was this morning and then an aviation party at the airport.

The parade was beautiful this year. A lot of very bright colors and ofcourse lots of candy !!

This time they made x-rays .. see the big ones come in ?? He thinks 8 more months !! Everything looks great and she is brushing really good. !!! Yeah , great job lilja !!

first couple of weeks of school

Lilja seems to be doing great at school. She is excited to go, comes home with a smile on her face and tells stories of the fun things she does. I on the other hand have a little adjusting to do.. I do not have to go to work till the 25th, so way too much time on my hands. I literally count the minutes until I can pick her up .. hopefully work will fill the void of that smiling face, all the laughs and that silly girl. She is coming home pretty tired and today is definitely excited to have a three day weekend.. so am I !!

One year ago , lilja and I filled this "all about me" poster out and decorated it . It is laminated and hangs in her room. 

This one is this years.. she did it pretty much all herself.. all the questions are verbatim and you can see which words she is trying to write all by herself.. 

Love this girl so much we like to take her with us on date night..
