first grader

Lilja is a first grader !! Wow it goes so fast . She was very excited the week before school until the morning of her first day of school. She was pretty timid and quiet. However...when I picked her up she said . Momma, I had a hard time waking up because I was a little nervous, but I did not know it was going to be this awesome !

Mrs Daigle on the right is her teacher. On the left is ms j.. amazing counselor , who keeps an eye on lilja, and lilja loves ger too

We went clothes shopping last week. Lilja definitely has her own style . Loves leggings, hates jeans.  Loves sparkles and loves to look in the mirror and decides to put her hair in a knot as she thinks it would look so cute with my outfit.. yes, it does !

weekend sleepover

We had abrianna sleep over for two nights this weekend and it was so much fun. Loved seeing the girls play so good together..most pictures had them holding hands .so cute and they called eachother sis.

Always holding hands ..and their imagination was just amazing .I think they were pretending they were going to fly to China because they were birds .

Yep, number two is out. This one was a little more dramatic .. a little crying and laughing all in one take, I pulled it out at the end, but her determination is very surprising .. 

Aubriana is one year young than lilja and also adopted . They seem to have a very special bond 

It was the LA plata fair this weekend. Aubriana has never gone, so lilja went with her on the little rides. She was a little dissapointed how slow they went..next year !! Daddy and lilja will go for speed .

They did really good, went to sleep pretty fast .. mind you , we tired them out pretty good..the faur, walking dogs and swimming in the hot tub.. so fun having two girls gir the weekend but happy to have just one child in our family ..way quieter !!

Last swim class, what an improvement . She can swim..now we need to just practise to perfect the "stroke" scooping those icecream scoops ...

One of my best friend from holland was in town with her family .. short but oh so fun. Lilja adored her kids and so did I . So much fun !!
