Meet Pip

Meet Pip, the little Corgi that will be joining our family on December 16th. Yep, a little guy.. we felt lilja needed a best friend here at the house. She is going through some anxiety issues and we felt a little puppy could take her mind of her little thoughts. So a litter came through my Facebook and I am not sure why I responded on a Corgi puppy. We are not small dog people at all..but my daughter is!! A corgi was her favorite dog, and this is all about lilja. So this little Pip squeak will be lilja's birthday ( and xmas) present . And seeing her little face meeting him, holding him and kissing him... priceless !!

Pip slept in lilja's arms pretty much the whole time. He is the calm one of the litter..perfect for us !

I just love the calm is over this picture. That is what I hope he will do for her. No pressure, Pip

Jocy, Pip's mom sold me on the corgi breed. She was so precious,  sweet, adorable and loving . Just a great dog .. Pip is from a great set of parents,,  again, no pressure , Pip!

pumpkin patch

Every year we go to the Sutherland pumpkin patch.. so very american.. rides, a corn pit, corn shooting , a corn maze and hay ride. Lilja felt she was too big for the rides bit the corn pit was still her favorite. Plus picking that perfect pumpkin.. she chose a tiny white one . Lilja wanted to carve it and paint it .. it turned out pretty cute

Halloween take one

Lilja's school had their fall festival today . Lilja wanted to be fierce ( her words) so she found her costume, her lipstick, designed her hair ( momma, i want a high ponytail with glitter in it)and showed us some "fierce "moves. She definitely know what she wants, goes after in and gets it... and it looks too cool for school. I told her I was impressed by her choices and how it all came together ..very impressed especially for an almost 7 year old.

Visiting kelli , brad and their boys is always fun each year. Date night, trampoline, home made Italian pizza , bowling and Lazer tag..and lilja being adored by three boys. We just had the best time . Unfortunately I got sick on sunday, but that dud not ruin the weekend . Thanks guys for yet another fun , silly and relaxing weekend

our visit with jasmin

This year we met jasmin at the denver zoo again. We did that when lilja was two and thought it would be fun for atlas, her 1 year old little son. He had not been yet. He just started walking so it was so cute to watch this little smiling boy waddle around. Lilja did pretty good with him. Helping him along and showing him the animals. Thanks jasmin, eric and atlas for meeting us again this year .

This year all the animals were very close and moving . Atlas just had the giggles when he saw the animaks..such a fun age 

Lilja's highlight of the day was feeding the birds again. She loves Birds !!
