Spring break

Every spring break we house and dog sit for the week. We are lucky that we can use the hot tub and take great walks to the river . We had a couple of sleepovers and playing with our friends . It is almost over and I think we are not ready for it to end

Citizen of the month again !!

Lilja is citizen of the month again this month .. it is for perseverance ! Remember she was it last year for caring . Oh yes, she has perseverance. Mrs Daigle explained to us why she chose lilja with this sentence " everytime I talk to lilja about correcting something she did wrong, she will come back and do it like I told her to and then some !! I look at lilja and see a very determined young lady with huge perseverance! ! Riding her bike, doing math on a tablet, training pip. She knows what she wants, goes for it and does it right .. what an amazing quality to have .. so proud of her !!

Poetry night

Tonight was poetry night . The kids have been writing poetry all year. The ones lilja said by herself, she wrote by herself . They did great and lilja really did a great job. So amazing to see her blossom this year. Mrs daigle has everything to do with that .. amazing teachers make amazing kids !!

Wonderful weekend

Sunday is family day ..and this Sunday was one of the best !! After sleeping in ...finally after thus time change we had a yummy breakfast and just relaxed a bit ..then we took a long bike ride through some beautiful country . Aran and lilja had been here before so lilja acted as the guide . We brought a picnic and had just a fun, silly, wonderful time ..I love Sundays :)

Lilja and Pip graduated their second class series . He is a stubborn little guy, but he is getting better and better .

Aran did a speech for lilja's class on career day. He got the best daddy award..plus I think all the kids now want to be a wildlife biologist .
