Horse back riding

You can see the progression already. The first two ate on a horse named miranda that stoppd every time lilja leaned forward. The last two ate on chingy and he seems to be a great match for her . She is loving it and loves to go fast . Now she learned how to post when she trots and sing her abc's at the same time

Lots to catch up on

A wedding, more horseback riding lessons and some calf branding .. plus pip gettibg bigger, well not really .

Lilja got this dress from her aunt margaret when she was in thailand. Lilja chose to wear it to a wedding . She said it was her most specialist dress . 

Daddy looked spiffy too 

After some outfit changes.. we danced to night away . Lilja even break danced !! No shy girl when she is dancing !!

We gad the opportunity to help vaccinate the calves and brand them. It was kind of sad and impressionable . The kids did great and even geld the heads while the calves were screaming.. then they were done..

Lilja's new love ..

We told lilja she could chose one activity a year to do after school . Last year it was ballet, this year she is in love with horses ..so we set up horseback riding lessons . ..but after we set down with lilja and has a serious talk about us never buying a horse , never ever . We told her , you will have to work for it , Have friends that have horses or find people that would let you use their horses. Well luckily we already know those people and they have graciously agreed to let us ride one of their horses, Virgil. And so it starts ...

I set up a lesson together with jt . Thought that would be a goid push to watch an older child and do it together.  They did great ! 

She was serious and smiling at the same time 

At the end they went for a walk to the barn

This same day we also went miniature golfing. .lilja's second time in her life 

Jt is a big golfer so patiently tried to teach her this very hard sport 

Oh yes, she is getting bigger !! Notice her new shoes style !! Yep, she has another pair at home like that .

Such a great teacher. Lilja adores him !!

First horseriding lesson

Lilja has fallen in love with horses , thanks to my friend shawndell. Luckily I work on a ranch and my boss has gratiously offered that lilja can join jt in his lessons and ride on their horse virgil. Lilja did a great job and even walked down the road by herself
