Horse back riding

Lilja has really taken to horse back riding . We have upped the classes to twice a week and she is just learning with leaps and bounds.. we might be broke by the end of the year, but seeing her so happy ..priceless!!

This is Chingy.. he will be going with lilja to her first horse show .. yep, her first one and she is so excited !! You see what I mean about going broke ..

But then you see this and you forget about the money ..

Love this photo.. great form and so confident . She changed to an English saddle and that seemed to be the change in her balance .

Catching up on lots of fun times !!

Fall is just gorgeous here in durango co. So we are doing a lot of hikes. Plus it is fun to finally have a dog again that loves and is able to go on walks .. Pip is loving it !! He turned one a couple of weeks ago and we can say honestly that he has become a very good dog and a great buddy for lilja !!

Happy birthday pipster.  Thanks fir being such a great dog..you are everything we wanted in a dog for lilja.  Her buddy, playmate, trouble maker and laugh maker !! Thanks , you are such a good boy !!

Family health weekend

Aran had a conference in albuquerque, and we usually join him to one of them a year. So this time we tagged along . Lilja and I had a blast going to the aquarium, botanical gardens and two trampoline parks . The first one aran even joined us . Fun long weekend to just relax, have fun, no tv, no phone, just us. Our little family.

The foam pit was fun.. I was so sore after trying to get out of there 30 times !

This trampoline park was smaller than the first one, but still fun 

The botanical gardens had a kids zone in which everything was gigantic.. yep, big ants !

She had to flap her arms and try to fly and get insects ..let's just say she would starve if she was a fly :)

We got to the aquarium just right when they opened so no one was there. We gad the place to our selves

Wow, I did not realize it has been this long ..so sorry !! School started and time just got away from me. We will go backwards with the posts but hope you love the photos.

Today we did our annual finding the pretty fall colors walk. The colors were not really peaking but probably will this week, so it was perfect timing, despite the muddy, very muddy road. 

I do not think she can love this dog more than she does !! And visaversa!!

Lilja had to finish some homework..reading on a bkanket, in the shade to a friend .. three reading assignments all in one :). She is a really good reader and likes doing it so we are not that worried about it :)
