Color run

Finally something different than horseback riding .. This weekend our school had a fundraiser and it was a color run which meant that everybody goes running 1K or 5K and gets thrown color chalk at them .... this the white T-shirt’s :) Unfortunately I was not able to go with them as I am still hurt but Lilja  and Aran started out doing the 1K but in the confusion actually ended up doing the 5K even finished running all the way through .  This was our first color run fundraiser for our school and I know they’ll be many more . It was a very fun event and they had a blast! The pictures are backwards as this blogger is giving me hardship ., but you can at least see how much fun it was

So lilja had a little scare when in her last class Chingy the horse took off cantering , she held on and actually seemed to enjoy it but today she expressed her concern to Dana that she did not want to Canter because they were going to practice it. Dana was just incredibly patient and walked lilja through it step-by-step. She still did not canter today but is ready probably next week to start practising. It was interesting watching Lily are going through all different emotions from being excited to getting worried to even expressing that she was nervous and then going back to being excited . I love how it seems like horseback riding is giving her more confidence.

Jumping !!

So the jumping is starting and Lilja is loving it!! spring is here and we will start having lilja ride twice a week again. so excited to see her get better and better , today was definitely a class that she improved with leaps and bounds.

And then she cantered !!

we were in Denver this weekend to pick up a little boat and Lilja Rode Cash , my friends horse and end up cantering him she is hooked. mind you she had not learned how to do that yet

Jumping girl !!

This is getting real . Today she jumped and jumped and loved it . We are starting up serious again . Twice a week and learning with leaps and bounds .. she actually says she might want to do jumping shows and dressage together .. we”ll See :))

Spring break

Usually we take care of the dogs this week but this time we had an opportunity to just go to Albuquerque for two days . Lilja directed these fast two days .. so this was our itinerary: the museum of national history, the Cheesecake Factory , swimming at the hotel and bowling ...then the next day .. breakfast , swimming again and the trampoline park and then finally homeward bound .. we were tired !! During the rest of the break we had a sleepover with violet and an egg decorating party .. I loved having lilja all to ourselves .. coffee in bed and walking dogs with me again , like old times ..sorry I am having a lot of problems with my new phone doing the blog now .. will try and figure it out soon I hope .

The Cheesecake Factory was our first stop .. she was so excited for this weekend . All giggly and silly
