another birthday party?

We set up a little impromptu party for Lilja today.. Aran's parents were here and we felt we wanted to celebrate.. so balloons, cupcakes and friends made the day!!

Lilja LOVES balloons.. she will pull them down, hit them on her head and sit there for hours shaking them so fast..

Grandma gave Lilja this pretty dress.. doesn't she look like a toddler now..

Grandma is watching Mila trying to show Lilja how to do the puzzle she gave her.. Lilja really looks up to Mila.. Mila is three..
Ok , It was time for cake.. the only good thing about the cake was the candle.. everything else was not.. what a shame, but Lilja did not mind the very dry and very sweet cupcake.

we sang Happy birthday and the Dutch equivalent of that song.. lilja after three birthday parties now knows how to throw her arms in the air when you say : Hieperdepiep... hoera!!"
