Happy 4th Birthday , Lilja!!!

Happy Birhtday girlie girl, can't believe you are already 4 years old. Your smiles, giggles, hugs and all that jumping around makes our day!! You are so smart, sweet and such a beautiful girl inside and out. We are so proud of you!! Thank you for being such an amazing daughter, we love you so much!! mom and dad! My parents came from Holland to celebrate Lilja's birthday and so the one birthday turned into two weeks of birthday fun!! First we had her little birthday party at her gymnastics gym, with all her little friends. Then on her real birthday we followed my (nicole's) tradition in asking her where she wanted to eat for her birthday.. we thought she would say Sushi, but she decided to go to the Mexican place , "so I can wear a big hat and they will sing for me" .. anything for you little 4 year old!!

and ofcourse a Hello Kitty birthday cake.. she wanted it to be pink inside to we ordered red velvet flavor.. wow!! that was yummy!!

Thank you Opa and Oma for the beautiful new bike.. Lilja is pretending not to smile... but inside she is sooo excited!! Surprisingly she took off on that bike and terrorized the downtown roads for a while..

On her real birthday we decorated the whole house with lots' of balloons and streamers, you should have seen her face.. it was litke x-mas for her.. so cute. She got a cute card from some great friends of my parents.. Oh yes, any cards that makes sounds is a great hit.. Thank you!! 

Lilja's favorite big girl present?? her new cd player from Grandma and Grandpa.. she loves listening to the stories from some of the cd's that came with it..especially in quiet time.. so cute.. a real big girl now!!

she also got a little bear that moves and giggles from Mimi, James, grandma.. what a hit.. she found some other bears that my mom made for her and said.. Now he has a family :) so cute!!!

Thank you to all of you for the beautiful presents, cards and songs on the telephone.. Lilja seemed to feel so special and really loved her birthday.. she still talks about it..!! We love you all!!
