best birthday present ever!!

It's my birthday on Monday... yep another year.. It seems that the years go way faster now that I have a child.. and it is scary.. it also makes me think about some things I have not done.. One of them being a sleighride!!! We were supposed to do it with Aran's parents but there was not enough snow.. Well, snow is here and we went for the most amazing ride ever. And what I love the most, besides the experience, are the beautiful pictures that were made of the three of us.. Oh yes, there will be some blown up this time around!! I think you know which ones.

This was our view form the mountain.. we picked the perfect time for the sleighride. We started at 4 and were back by 4:45.. This was the view walking back to the car.

Today the sun is out and it is pretty cold, but that does not stop Lilja going outside and playing.. she is just loving this snow.. unfortunately we have not made a snowman yet.. the snow is too fluffy.. but when we can...

Can I say enough about this smiley face.. yep.. she usually has a smiley face and the snow just makes it bigger!!

Lilja loves a new show called Mia and Me.. pretty expensive toys, so we improves.. the unicorn is oncho,the flying unicorn.. the dress we pretend to be pink and the house is the palace. she has some amazing imagination!!. 

This is her new stands for the camera.. not sure where she gets it from.. but it is way too cute!!

After we opened gifts, we had breakfast and went outside.. it was snowing and everything was just beautiful.. Not cold and the snow was so nice and fluffy.. Lilja has the best snowsuit on so she just had a blast laying, playing and running in the snow.. This is what x-mas is all about for my family.. The three of us.. just having fun, no phone, TV or electrical appliance.. just us three... heaven!!!

We had to take care of JT yesterday. He is seven and loves to play football.. It is fun to see their ages come together as this time Lilja played with us the whole time.. she was on JT's team. It was freezing and windy outside though and we lasted probably about an hour. But notice JT's gloves....He had to have some grip..

Lilja loved all her presents..She got a Kindle, a stick horse unicorn, playdoh, crayons, some legos and sme bubble stuff.. Mind you this was x-mas morning number two.. now we are done for a while!! y Her favorite one was Lamby # trillion.. This was the lamby that was lost, I found it, and did not tell her as she already had one.. (long story) but when she asked santa for one.. it was the perfect opportunity to ease my guilt ;)

Our Sunday of fun !!

A walk in the clouds, a gingerbread house and sending a letter to santa.. oh what a Sunday !!

Every year we make a gingerbread house and every year they get cuter and better.  Lilja loves art and this is right up her alley. Hello kitty inspected the new house

We took a walk early this morning "in the clouds" . So cool and kind of eerie.

Lilja is a great hiker. She probably walks twice as much as us as she zigzags, jumps and runs all over the place. Hot chocolate was waiting at home :))

So this year we wrote a letter to santa.. she has been changing her mind on some things so I wanted a definite answer on what she wanted for x-mas. 

Will she go on the naughty list with the stupid comment ? It is from the polar express. I refuse to buy more lambies, but i have one still held back..( he got lost, I found him, but did not tell lilja as she had one already .. long story ) so lamby number trillion is going to come back and make it the best x-mas ever. So glad I kept him .
