Grandma and Grandpa's visit and lots of snow!!

We are lucky that both sides of our parents love to come visit.. And Aran's parents are turning their visit around x-mas into the family tradition. Cutting down the tree was a collaborative effort.. We do realize that Aran is the one that is the tree "snob" . This year our tree looked a little meager, but Lilja's decorative skills saved the day.. or saved x-mas !!

Lilja's "little' smile is still around.. But she adored them!!

It is so fun to see both sets of our parents be still so in love. Aran's parents have been married almost  45 years!!

Aran .. or we.. found the perfect tree, way down there.. I zoomed in with my camera, we are helping mentally...

They worked hard on decorations, most of them were on the bottom..

Lilja LOVES x-mas!!

Lilja is admiring her work.. Every year she can chose one ornament to buy.. Those candycanes are this years..

Tada!!! the golden streamers really made our tree I think.

Then we had to make some popcorn streamers. Lilja did it al by herself.. As to date, she will walk by the tree, stop, eat a piece of popcorn, and continue on her way.. there is not much popcorn left..

Lilja made a cozy spot for her and lamby under the tree. She wants to sleep there at x-mas.. but we said santa would be to afraid to wake her to give her presents...I think we averted the sleep-over with the tree. 

or maybe not..

She can be so shy.. and especially with Santa..

He was a great santa and she actually met him twice in one day.. he even remembered her name the second time..

We play Uno a lot before bedtime and Lilja wanted to play it with Grandma and Grandpa.. She won both times, and we do not give her any slack!!

We always do a x-mas morning with the grandparents. This year I wanted to make a distinction between x-mas morning and santa presents and a family morning. So we all exchanged gifts with no mystery behind it.. Lilja LOVED her umbrella, she is still walking around with it!!

And the best gift ever.. kenetic sand!! An indoor sandbox!!! so fun!!

But the best present of all was all the snow we got on Sunday!! Lilja truly LOVES the snow and just played in it for hours!! This smile is the Momma I am going to get you soaked smile!

The best sled ever..

we made a little sled hill in the front of the house.. she had to bring the sled back every time.. big trooper.

yes, she is our angel!!

but when she threw the sneaky snowball, she threw it in her face.. Revenge is fun!!! you will see!!

Did I tell you revenge is sweet??Lilja stand right there with your eyes closed ....yep.. revenge of the momma..
