new bike and the zoo

Lilja got a new bike this weekend. She upgraded to a BMX bike with hand brakes and gears . Wow, she did great. We ended up riding around the lake two times with your truely running after and beside her. I got my exercise today!! Plus, Lilja and I ended up in albuquerque on wednesday. We had to bring my boss' car to get serviced and we offered to go so we could go to the zoo. It was a pretty fast little trip but lilja had a blast being my guide past all the animals. This time she was all into birds and ofcourse Luke the koala again

She kept going and was goibg so fast with the new gears .

Yes, she got a little lion at the zoo.. Meet snowflake..

The polar bear surprised us by suddenly jumping in the water on top of a big toy.. so cool !!

Best thing about this little zoo....the water feature .

Well actually the best thing was lilja getting to feed the birds 

Everything was birds this trip.  Even her merry go round animal was a bird 

At the bird show lilja was allowed to give a dollar to a big bird .. 

Luke the koala is always so cute
