new room!!

In between the Holland posts , I HAD to put some updates in of our new little guest/sitting/sun/TVroom. This room had been kind of a sunroom/a 'dog kennel", covered in wood panaling, and a green painted floor that you had to step down to. Now???? I can see the potential of a cute, very light sitting room that we can have coffee in in the morning on a contemporary very cozy couch/futon that will turn into a queen bed for guests to come!!. Shelves for books and some nice plants that will love all this sun. There wll be a full glass door from the kitchen into that room. we used to have to go through the room to go to the yard.. to truly make it a bedroom we eliminated that outside door and put in sliding doors from the kitchen to the yard.. Yeah!! now I can see Lilja playing outside and we have a much easier way of going outside.. plus what a light!! just that changes the light in our kitchen which is already pretty dark. they will add a step down from the door. Look at all those windows instead of screens..

I think we will spend more time in this room than we think.
