soccer!!!

A friend of ours works for the soccer organization and at last minute got Aran myself and Brigitte tickets to go to a game Saturday night. Wow what an experience.. we got there a little late, so we walked into this HUGE full stadium. The noise was overwhelming and very intimidating. The team was not doing so well, so interestingly enough the Dutch people were very quiet, but let the team know very loudly if a play was not played well.. I think Americas at a football game are more encouraging and cheer the team on more. So an interesting observation..then a huge bang and it was half time, like a well oiled machine, everyone just got up and in cattle drive fashion walked over to the bars.. 10 minutes later, and two sips of my wine, we had to get back to our seats..Watching the game so close was awesome.. and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Thank you Louise and Bob for the tickets..we loved it!!
