parties, and Vail!!

We have had a rough couple of weeks this last week. I got sick at work and ended up in the emergency room thinking it was my heart or a collapsed lung.. scary but finally they found out what has been going on..It was a hypo thyroid.. and with medicine I feel now a 100 percent better. I had been so tired and foggy, and could not think.. now the medicine is making me a little hyper.. I guess back to normal.. the old Nicole :)) Poor Lilja was kind of freaked out as I was taken in the ambulance and she stayed with my friend Robin at work until Aran got her. I asked Lilja that night if she had any questions about what happened and she said.. Momma, why could I not come with you in the ambulance?.. me: well, you are 4 and they did not want a four year old in the ambulance because they had to take care of momma. Lilja: but momma, what would happen if I get sick like that? will you be with me? (tears in my eyes)Me: ofcourse I will be with you . grown ups are allowed in the ambulance.. !! Funny what they question about. So now that I am the old self again.. Here are some fun pictures from the last couple of weeks.

My boss Caroline had their annual party yesterday and there was lots of fun things to do.. A jumpy house for the kids and great music for the adults.

Lilja had gotten hot from jumping for about 3 hours!!! so we hiked down to the river to cool off . This was the way back up.. Hmm, daddy can you see??.

actually it was a smoothie and she had a hard time getting it through that straw.. but she kept trying...

After my emergency ordeal, I went to Vail buy myself and met my good friend Shawndell there. She was doing an art show and had invited me to come.. Perfect timing!! Needed to just relax, and oh yeah.. did I say relax...

My friend shawndell described the house we were going to stay in as  " a second home that was kind of out dated" Imagine my surprise when I walk into this....Hmmm... does this match that description..
