Sutherland farms with Oma and Opa and more birthday photos!!

We are almost done... There are so many cute photos and I just have to chose the best, otherwise this blog would be a record breaking length.. Mom, dad, what a wonderful time we had.. just looking at the photos you can see the fun we had!! Thank you so much for coming all the way to Bayfield. It means so much to us and to Lilja.. You see what an amazing relationship you have with her, just being her, laughing and playing with her. We love you.. see you on Skype:)



At Chavolos, one of our favorite Bayfield restaurants , they will sing for your birthday.. Remember last year.. Well, Lilja wanted them to do it again this year.. I recall a bigger smile last year..and a smaller icecream dessert

Lilja got a very special birthday present from her Grandma and Grandpa.. These dolls were preceded by a beautiful written story about how loved they were by Aran's mom, Margeret.. Helen and tony were her beloved dolls when she was little. They came with lots of clothes and a wardrobe to put them in. They have been having tea and sleep next t Lilja's bed.. so very special.

 

Ofcourse we had to go to the pumpkin patch with Oma and Opa.. it is so un dutch like..Lilja was allowed to chose one pumpkin.. she chose a ghost pumpkin.. a white one.

This year she was not as timid as last year and even went I the cow ride.. this one goes up and down..

Love seeing my parents stil have the spark!! they just enjoy eachother so much..



she is getting heavier.. the height is not as high anymore..

Lilja had to lead us out of the corn maze.. and yes we got out!!

 



Oh they love her so much!! Only grandchild..Lilja is a lucky girl

Lilja got the whole series of the Beatrice Potter books from good friends of my parents, the Kluvers. We have read half of them now and Lilja loves them.. Great stories and perfect length for a 5 year old. Thank you so much!! we read them every night at bed time..Lilja's favorite story?/ Tom Kitten :)
